Christianity Explored
Christianity Explored is an informal way to investigate Christianity or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to follow him. Highly recommended.
You don't need to know anything about the Bible.
You won't be asked to read aloud, pray or sing.
You can ask any question you want.
This spring/summer we are running a Christianity Explored on Monday nights at 7:30pm, at 37 Melrosegate -see the flyer (below to download) for details and directions
On Monday evenings, we will be going through seven big questions about Jesus in the seven weeks, looking at Mark's gospel. If you have missed any, or haven't yet come along but would like to, that's great, and its not too late to start! We will be looking at:
Good News: what are we doing here? (29th April)
Identity: who is Jesus? (6th May)
Sin: why did Jesus come? (13th May)
The Cross: why did Jesus die? (20th May)
Resurrection: why did Jesus die? (27th May)
Grace: how can God accept us? (3rd June)
Come and Die: what does it mean to follow Jesus? (10th June)
