The Lunchtime Talk

The Lunchtime Talk is a short, straightforward talk about Jesus from the Bible, every Thursday lunchtime.

We're convinced what the Bible says about Jesus is the most relevant thing you can ever hear!

Everyone is welcome, both Christians and non-Christians. You won't be asked to take part in anything, if you don't want to. You can just sit and listen.

We try and make it convenient for workers in York city centre, so sandwiches are provided, and we keep to the times.

This spring we're looking at the middle bit of Luke's gospel, where Jesus very deliberately starts heading to Jerusalem for his death and resurrection. It's a great place to understand what Jesus saw his job as.

Do come along!

When: We meet every Thursday, 12.45-1.15pm.

Venue: The Garden Room, York Medical Society, 23 Stonegate, YO1 8AW (Find Mulberry Hall china and crystal shop on Stonegate, face towards the Minster, and it's a couple of doors further on the right, down a short alley). More info here.
